Sue Sylvester Fired — Is Jane Lynch Off Glee Forever?
OMG, you guys. We are totally freaking out over Sue (Jane Lynch) right now. Bizarrely, it’s not because of her usual crazy Glee hijinks that we’re in a tizzy. Rather, it’s because Sue took responsibility for Becky’s (Lauren Potter)
gun and got fired over it. And while Sue has gotten fired before, we’re
a little concerned over Jane Lynch’s future on the show.Whether she’s miraculously pregnant, dressing as Nicki Minaj,
or shoving kids in the halls, Sue has always had ridiculous storylines.
But over the last couple seasons, we’ve seen her old standards start to
feel stale, and it seems like she’s never quite found a new place on
the show. We have to wonder: Has it all been leading up to Jane’s
departure?
The answer is, we don’t know what Jane’s future looks like on Glee. It’s hard to imagine the show without her, but we’ve started to wish Sue could just do something normal for once. This summer, Jane is busy playing Miss Hannigan in a Broadway rendition of Annie, as well as hosting a reality TV competition. And since we aren’t even sure if there will be a Glee Season 5, we can’t say for sure that she would be unavailable when (if) it starts filming in July.

Also possibly telling? Jane is starring in a FOX animated series that
has been picked up for 13 episodes so far. But since the voiceover work
required for a cartoon wouldn’t be all-consuming like a scripted
musidramedy as complicated as Glee, that doesn’t mean it would bar her from the future either.
