Jane Lynch also confirmed that she and her character Sue Sylvester will return next season. "I know nothing about [season five], but I am going to be in it. I know she said.
"I love what they are doing with the New York story and I think some of the kids are probably going to be joining Rachel, Kurt and Santana in New York,” she added.
TV Line revealed that Heather Morris, who plays Brittany, will be back in some part. Morris is currently pregnant.
“ All indications are that Morris will be back in some capacity, but probably not until the first part of 2014 at the earliest (Morris’ baby is due in the fall),” TV Line reports.
“But don’t expect Santana to wait around for her ex to resurface. Word on the street is she’s getting a serious NYC girlfriend in Season 5.”
Wetpaint put together a roundup of characters who will definitely back: Rachel (Lea Michele), Finn (Cory Monteith), Santana (Naya Rivera), Ryder (Blake Jenner), Becky (Lauren Potter), Sue (Jane Lynch) and Burt (Mike O’Malley) have all been confirmed.
Sugar (Vanessa Lengies) will be leaving, and Joe (Samuel Larsen) will probably not be coming back.
As for when the season will start?
Wetpaint reveals that FOX entertainment chairman Kevin Reilly has hinted that Glee will likely “get out of the gate two weeks early,” putting the premiere date on August 29.
